When you create an account, we store your email address and display name. When you play, we store your game results (scores, words spelled, mode) to show your stats and history. We also store a hashed version of your user ID to generate your avatar.

How we use it

• Authenticate you and maintain your session

• Run leaderboards and matchmaking
• Improve the game based on aggregate, anonymized usage data

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to anyone
• We don't run third-party ad trackers
• We don't share your personal information with third parties except as needed to run the service (hosting, authentication)

Third-party services

We use third-party services for hosting, authentication, and audio generation. These services have their own privacy policies. We also track how much you suck at spelling.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We'll process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the updated date at the top of this page.
